rune weirdness... - Guild Wars Forums

Late last night I salvaged an item and a big graphic showed up saying that I found I rune! I was excited until I realized there was no rune in my inventory and I created a level 20 char to see if it showed up there, but it didn't.

Did I miss something? We were in the middle of a mission so I didn't have time to read the entire rune description...

The rune was unlocked for your PvP characters. For your RP character to get it, you have to salvage the armor with an expert salvage kit.

Ok, thanks I tried to create a PvP character to test it and noticed one rune looked different but I wasn't able to use it. It is a rune of minor vigor. I take it if I find some armor in PvE I'll be able to use it in PvP, none of the armor I've seen in the PvP editor has a slot for runes.
